Pidpenky (honey mushrooms)
Enjoyed across the globe from the Ukraine to Italy, these mushrooms rehydrate very well and have a sweet umami flavour remincent of shitake and morels. Our personal second favourite (morels being the first of course!).
After rehydrating, saute with butter and garlic/onions, for a delicious addition to steak, toast, pasta, potatoes, perogies, soup and more.
