With rich umami flavour, and a meaty texture, many who dislike sterotypical button mushrooms fall in love with these unique tasting and odd looking mushrooms. They rehydrate so well they almost seem like they just came from the forest.
After rehydrating 15 min in hot water, saute in butter with garlic, and add to steak, scrambled eggs, toast, pizza, potatoes, creamy pasta or soup, perogies and more! The possibilities are endless.
